Student Blog = Stog

It's a quick way of referring to a 'Student Blog'.

STudent + blOG = STOG. A 'blog' is an website that you can add text and pictures to from any web browser. You can publish content on the internet with the push of a button.

We're going to use this technology to publish some of your work in History.

You can type text directly into the site, or copy and paste existing text from Word or another text editor.

You can also upload files which others can access. You can put images into your posts as well.

One of the best things about it is that other students can assess your work and leave comments on it, as you can to theirs. Teachers call this 'Peer Assessment' and they are keen to see you do this as it helps you to understand where your work is in relation to others'.
